Rally to Support our Trans Community

Wednesday, Oct 3, 6-8pm

Save the date! Friday, October 3rd from 6-8pm at Crestmont Park, we invite our community, surrounding neighborhoods, trans and gender diverse people and their allies to join Abington for Peace & Abington Pride as we rally around the trans community.

Come listen to firsthand experiences, learn more about the challenges and threats facing the trans community and how we can better support them.

Several of our community sponsors will have tables so you can gather more information and resources about the work they do directly for the trans and greater LGBTQ+ community.

No Kings 2.0 Montco

Wednesday, October 18, 12-2pm

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

March On Harrisburg Focus Groups

Wednesday, October 22, 7pm

Our October 22 meeting we will be doing some focus group work with March on Harrisburg to fight corruption in our PA government. Bribery is legal in PA. No one wants this. Let’s get to work on this issue!

March On Harrisburg is an anti-corruption, pro-democracy nonpartisan organization that fights to get #MoneyOut of the PA government and #PeopleIn through anti-corruption work and by supporting fair and representative elections.

We will talk about flyering and billboarding to raise public awareness and what you can say to your representative about banning bribery.
