Abington Protests Presents
PROTECT THE VOTE
Saturday, October 17, 2:00-4:00 PM
Don’t forget: We collect for mutual aid at our protests. Please consider bringing a donation of pantry food, feminine hygiene products or toiletries for those in need.
From now until Election Day, Raise Your Voice, Abington will focus on “Protecting the Vote.” Come with signs encouraging voter registration, mail-in voting, and protecting democracy. We will have information about checking registration status, requesting mail-in ballots, and more.
Note: Starting in OCTOBER and continuing through SPRING, we’ll meet on Third SATURDAYS from 2:00 – 4:00 PM to stay out of the darkness as the days shorten. In Spring, we’ll switch back to our Third Thursday from 5:00–7:00 PM schedule.
March On Harrisburg
Fighting Corruption in Pennsylvania
Bribery is still legal in Pennsylvania. No one wants this, and together we’re working to change it.
IGJ is proud to team up with March on Harrisburg to raise awareness about corruption in our state government and to push for legislation that bans gifts from lobbyists to legislators.
March on Harrisburg is a nonpartisan, anti-corruption, pro-democracy organization dedicated to getting #MoneyOut of politics and putting #PeopleIn — building a Pennsylvania government that truly represents its citizens.
