Indivisible Greater Jenkintown is one of thousands of Indivisible groups across the country taking non-violent action to build grassroots power and fight for a truly inclusive democracy. Indivisible Greater Jenkintown is nonprofit and completely volunteer-driven.
Together we must shine a light on the dangers of political extremism by holding elected officials accountable, and continue building a pro-democracy coalition to advance policies that are both right and popular. Getting it done depends on all of us.

REGIFTING EVENT
WITH
ACTIVIST POSTCARING
Sunday, April 12, 1:30-4:00pm
JOIN Indivisible Greater Jenkintown for a totally free, fun afternoon of Regifting, shopping, and activist postcarding.
The objectives of this event:
• CARTHARTIC: Unload unwanted items from your home, to be offered to appreciative Regifting recipients.
• THERAPUTIC: Have a ball checking out the array of no-cost Regifting items, as you search for surprises to take home that tickle your fancy.
• SOCIAL: Schmooze with fellow Indivisible Greater Jenkintowners while “shopping.” Chat while sipping a non-alcoholic beverage you bring (we provide bottles of water) and noshing on snacks we will supply.
• ACTIVIST INSPIRED: Bring five (5) stamped postcards to fill out: We will supply the addresses and content. You’ll demand a Gift Ban for PA Politicians.
ABOUT THE GIFT BAN: IGJ has partnered with MARCH ON HARRISBURG in an initiative to get corruption out of Pennsylvania politics. PA is one of just three states where lawmakers can accept luxury trips, box seats, and lavish meals from lobbyists and billionaires. Nobody wants this! The Gift Ban would make that bribery illegal. Join us in writing postcards to demand that leaders put people over money and finally pass the Gift Ban!
PLEASE NOTE: The event address will be supplied in the post-registration email. Space is limited.
REGISTER by Monday, January 19 to ensure your spot!

Peacebuilding & De-escalation
Sunday, April 19, 1:00-5:00 PM

This Peacekeeper Training is a practical, skills-based introduction to nonviolent theory and applied de-escalation. Participants learn how to stay grounded under stress, interrupt escalation, support community safety, and act with courage and discipline in tense public situations. MARCH TO BAN BRIBERY
April 30 – May 4
We are marching on Harrisburg to demand PA lawmakers stop billionaire bribes, and pass a Gift Ban! We are marching to say enough is enough! Corporations are NOT people! And Money is NOT speech! We are tired of corruption and corporate greed, and we’re taking power back into our own hands! We are marching on Harrisburg so we can have healthcare as a human right, a livable wage, affordable housing, a liveable environment, safety, dignity, hope, and so much more. We refuse to allow corruption to continue being a barrier to justice, and a barrier to getting the things we all need to survive and thrive!
Join us for the entire march – or just one hour or just one day. And join us at the end of the march, on Monday, May 4th in the State Capitol, where we will wage nonviolent direct action and disrupt the legislative guardians of corruption.
